Quizzes:
(Available on the Canvas site)
Quiz #1; Regulations 1
Quiz #2; Regulations 2
The quizzes are
multiple choice; 3 choices for each question. Some of the questions are common
sense, other require knowledge of pesky details from FAA Advisory Circular
107-2 and my lectures. These are examples of real questions that are used for
the FAA Section 107 Remote Pilot written exam. The intent of these quizzes is
to help prepare you to pass this FAA exam. You are not required to take this
FAA exam as part of this class (it costs $150 to take it), but I’d encourage
you to do so. It is a nice thing to put on your resume. For each of these
online quizzes that you take this quarter, you will get a random selection of
10 questions from a question bank of about 15-25 questions. Again, my intent
here is to give you practice with these questions. So, you can take each quiz
twice and I will count your best score out of these two attempts. For your 2nd
attempt, you may get some repeat questions. These are timed quizzes
and you will have 20 minutes for each attempt. The real FAA exam also has a
time restriction with about 2 minutes/question.
